Oneida Lake Marina has been home of the Oneida Lake Sailing Club since
its creation in 1971. Conveniently located in in the South Bay area of Oneida
Lake, the marina is only 25 miles from Syracuse and Utica.
Oneida Lake Marina is where the Boathouse is located, which is built over
an old canal lock located where the "New" (1877) Oneida Lake Canal
from the Erie and Durhamville entered Oneida Lake. The sailing club meets
at the Oneida Lake Marina every Wednesday and Thursday evening and most
weekends for club racing from mid-May through September..
